Social responsibility
Social commitment is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. For many years, we have taken part in the J.P. Morgan run and support various organisations in the region with 50 euros per runner.
Sustainability is just as important. Instead of paper, only e-cards are sent at Christmas and we also use this occasion to support a good cause. Last year, for example, 350 trees were donated to the organisation Plant-for-the-Planet.
During the current Corona crisis, we were able to donate 885 euros to Unicef for India with the help of our employees, and under the hashtag #avatoMovesForBenefit, various sports challenges can be completed, for which avato then supports various initiatives (for example, Make a Wish, children’s cancer research in Frankfurt am Main).

It all started in the USA. avato has been supporting international companies with their technical expertise in the field of databases since 2013. This business was outsourced to the newly founded avato consulting Inc in 2018.
The services offered in the USA were extended step by step to include the entire avato portfolio.

Internationalisation continued in Great Britain in 2014. Also here the key focus is on the technical expertise in the database environment. This business was outsourced to the newly founded avato consulting Ltd in 2018.
In Great Britain too, the entire avato service portfolio will be offered in the medium term.

For many years the avato team has been taking part in the J. P. Morgan run. We donate a fixed sum per runner to various initiatives to actively practise business responsibility for our society. Here our focus is on the promotion of young people, particularly in the German region of Alzenau and Rhein-Main. Last year our donation was given to ‘Hilfe für bedürftige Kinder in Alzenau’ (help for children in need in Alzenau). This project ensures that children are not excluded from school or preschool activities simply because their parents can’t afford them.
